We have an exciting opportunity for an industry practiced Project Manager to join our team.

The role:
Our Project Managers have day-to-day responsibility for putting our people to work safely while planning, coordinating and implementing resources efficiently and effectively. You will have fantastic opportunities to work on diverse electrical projects and will have line management duties for a number of engineering teams and subcontractors. You will report to the senior manager and will be expected to deliver projects on time and to budget. You will also be given the opportunity to develop your professional career along the way.
The responsibilities:
- You will manage multiple projects and/or team resources safely and effectively to time and budget.
- Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with Company policies and procedures and client specific instructions.
- Issue clear and concise Task Instructions to teams/individuals prior to work commencement and check they are understood.
- Liaise with clients Project Managers and/or nominated staff.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and third parties.
- Liaise with local authorities and third parties on project related issues.
- Work side by side with project facilitators such as SAP in a professional manner.
- Capture and claim project variations and report to the clients nominated person in accordance with the contract.
- Carry out proactive site inspections to ensure procedural compliance.
- Deliver Toolbox Talks and critical safety information to your team.
- Monitor day-to-day project delivery, staff productivity and financial performance.
- Inform line management in real time of project related concerns.
Who we are looking for:
- A minimum of 3 years experience working as a Project Manager in the overhead line electricity industry.
- People with an IOSH Managing Safely qualification or equivalent.
- People who can demonstrate working knowledge and experience in managing CDM sites.
- People who can demonstrate the ability to achieve targets and objectives.
- Candidates proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.
- A team player.
- People who can demonstrate good leadership skills.

- Prince 2 qualified
- SMSTS qualification.
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- City & Guilds 2339 or equivalent (formally 2322)
