We have an exciting opportunity for a business administrator to join our team.

The company:

Avidety is at the heart of the community.  The electricity infrastructure we repair and maintain supplies thousands of homes, businesses and public services so it’s essential that we have the right people in the right seats. 

The role:

You will provide a wide range of administrative support services to the operational management team while undertaking general office duties.  You will be the lead in maintaining and updating records within various management information systems.

The responsibilities:

  • Process and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Maintain office systems in an orderly manner.
  • Input and maintain spread sheets, databases and other Company systems.
  • Compile and produce reports as requested by senior managers. 
  • Receive and distribute post and other information/documents to other team members.
  • Raise and goods receive purchase orders and arrange payment of invoices.
  • Manage petty cash.
  • Undertake reception duties and answer incoming phone calls.
  • Take direction from the management team.
  • Undertake other reasonable business support duties as may be required.

Who we are looking for:

  • A person with a minimum 3 GCSE’s including maths and English.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly and professional manner.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • An enthusiastic, confident and polite person.
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • People who are flexible and adaptable.

What would be beneficial:

  • People with an ambition to progress in to management roles.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role.
